Transparency and Supply Chains Statement
The California Transparency in Supply Chains Act requires certain companies to disclose information regarding their efforts to eradicate human trafficking and slavery within their supply chains on their website. The disclosures are intended to provide consumers the ability to make better, more informed choices about the products and services they buy and companies they support.
Summary
ReCarbon is committed to acting with integrity in all our business relationships and maintaining and improving our systems and processes to avoid complicity in human rights violations related to our business operations, products and supply chain as we execute on our mission to Restore the Earth.
Our Structure
ReCarbon, Inc. is a Delaware corporation, with headquarters in Santa Clara, California and research facilities in Fremont, California. While our business is located and is developing in the United States, we are also focused on expanding internationally.
Our Business
ReCarbon recycles carbon emissions into revenue-generating, clean products through its Plasma Carbon Conversion Unit (PCCU), which is based on its emission blade gas processing platform. ReCarbon sells its gas processing systems to customers that want convert and utilize their industrial carbon emissions into valuable industrial gases and green energy. ReCarbon also builds its own clean energy plants.
Our Supply Chain
Our global procurement team is based at our headquarters in the United States. Most of our contractors, partners, resellers, vendors and other suppliers are based in the United States of America and the Republic of Korea. Our supply chain mostly consists of the hiring of independent component manufacturers, consultants and other service providers in connection with the procurement mechanical, electrical and other components required in the fabrication of our PCCU and the construction of PCCU-based, clean energy plants. We expect, and to the fullest extent possible when we enter negotiated agreements we require, that our contractors, partners, resellers, vendors and other suppliers comply with all applicable laws, which may include the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act as well as applicable international modern slavery laws, depending on the nature of a particular transaction. We source goods and services from reputable third parties, and we will not support a supply chain where we are aware of, or have reasonable grounds to believe, that slavery and human trafficking are taking place.
Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct
ReCarbon's Code of Ethics and Standard of Conduct aids our directors, officers, employees and contractors in making proper ethical and business decisions when conducting business for us and performing their day-to-day duties in alignment with our values and policies.
To ensure that members of our supply chain comply with our values, including our zero tolerance for slavery and human trafficking issues in our supply chain, we enter into agreements with our contractors, partners, resellers, vendors and other suppliers whenever possible. As part of this, we expect all such third parties to comply with all applicable laws (which may include the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act as well as applicable international modern slavery laws, depending on the nature of the transaction.)
Our Commitment
We recognize and understand the importance of the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act and are committed to periodically reviewing and assessing the risks in our supply chain, including our negotiated agreements with our contractors, partners, resellers, vendors and other suppliers.
